I am so excited to be your Art 1 teacher! 
In my Art class we will dive into the world of art where you will create art by exploring different mediums, reflecting on and evaluating your own artwork, famous artworks, and the work of your peers.
It's common for people to assume Art is just drawing and painting, but there is so much more to Art than what meets the eyes. Art develops skills that overlap with other core classes and are beneficial to everyday life beyond the classroom. Such as: increased creativity, problem solving, self-expression, focus, discipline, collaboration and risk taking skills.
