Mrs. Malone
Hello, My name is Kaylyn Malone and I teach 9-12 grade special education here at Liberty High. My subject areas of focus are on Math, Science, and Life Skills. My family moved to Madera Ranchos when I was younger, so I grew up here. I graduated from here in 2012, so it will be interesting to see what it is like from the teacher perspective instead of a student perspective. It is my very first year teaching and I am super excited to be back on such a great campus where I made a lot of lasting memories and friendships, but also now I get to contribute to the great teacher-student connections that are made here and create my own. I got into education because I have a passion for teaching and love to make a difference in students' lives no matter how small. I am a firm believer in progress over perfection and progress is progress no matter how small. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and my master's as a special education specialist with a mild/moderate teaching credential. In my free time I love spending time with my friends, family and pets. When I do get free time I enjoy reading books, catching up on tv shows, arts and crafts, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.
