Due:
Good morning! My classes today are asynchronous. There is nothing new posted in Classroom. You are supposed to be working on finalizing everything so I can sign off on it. If you think you're ready for me to sign off on your IPF, please email me. You also may email me for any clarifications needed or call or text: 246-1206.
Due:
I highly encourage each of you to participate in this process. I don't think Mr. Piedra will be granting approvals to do interviews or questionnaires or surveys to LHS students without going through this process, which also means I would not be able to approve of your IPF.
Due:
I have put together the documentation for the IRB, including putting together a Review Board. Do you intend on publishing your research study/paper/work? Y/N
If you intend on publishing your work, you must go through the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process. You only need to go through the process if you intend on publishing your work. You must make the decision of whether or not to publish ASAP. It doesn't mean you have to publish, it means that you cannot publish unless you go through this process.
Due:
Look at slides 80-82. Work on your study. Keep notes on the work you do in your PREP. There is a link on research design to help you construct your research design.
Due:
Looking back on your process and content of your Professional Discourse paper, what did you find to be the most significant takeaway? Is your research becoming clearer? Did you have to revise your research question, method, or anything else during or after this process? Any other thoughts about this paper or process or your research study?
Submit, then add to PREP

What song (old or new) do you think could have been written about you and why?
Due:
So. The pressure is on. It’s becoming real. Take a moment to reflect on the process of creating a research question. What were your struggles? What came easy? What questions do you still have? What more do you want to know?
There has been a document created for you in Classroom.
When you finish writing, submit it, then add a copy of it to your PREP

Due:
In your digital notebooks, make a list of possible topics to explore. In your exploration, let your mind wander. Keep notes of interesting things you see. By the end of your exploration, you should come to a conclusion about a topic worthy of your sustained interest and inquiry. Begin be thinking about what you are most interested in? How do you spend your time when you're not in school? Find something you could never get sick of. At the end of each day's exploration, you will reflect on what you find--this is different than the notes you keep.
Due:
See slides 32-34
Due:
Complete the table using your notes from the slides. You'll need to Read the PDF in the link first, otherwise what you're supposed to do won't make sense.
